When Your Truck Rattles

My truck turned 70,000 miles this last week and I took it in for an oil change. I have been enduring a rattle for the last six months. The rattle did not affect performance, but it bothered me, not enough to do anything about... at least not yet.
Then last week it started getting worse and I had had enough. I made the appointment and this coming Tuesday, my truck gets healed.
Then there is my six month check up at the dentist. I really don't look forward to that each November and April. The scrapping, poking, grinding and polishing is a great thing to have behind you, but the alternative is worse. So I made the decision to get them worked on.
Then I had another issue surface . . . my heart. 30 months ago I had surgery to repair and valve and my heart is good, strong, no leakage and surgey did what it was supposed to do. Yeah!
The problem is infection. Since the surgey I have battled infection in the heart sack that turns me into an 80 year old man in five days once the infection hits. And so far it has hit about every three or four months in the last three years, combated only be regular steriods. Yuck!
So I got tired of this rattle too and I'm going into see the heart mechanic on Tuesday. Granted this is a little more complicated, but I have hope it will be fixed too, one way or another.
The point of this little writing is simply this. Irratating things continue to get worse until we make a decision to change, and we usually don't make a decision until we feel growing personal pain.
What decision do you need to make that you have been putting off?.

Our piggy bank is on the verge of starving! Poor thing. We made a major move at the beginning of this year. Though I have gotten a job in the new town I took a five dollar an hour blow to the budget. Poor piggy! It seems that every month we barely squeak by leaving nothing for his tummy!
I have been tossing around the idea of looking for another job but it took me 3 1/2 months to get this one, my medical coverage just started which my precious life buddy needs! I finally decided to pray about it and now I know that I need to take that first step and let God do the rest. Monday I will be calling the head hunters and set everything in motion. My goal is not to make Piggy fat...just content!

Hi Don, 2007 has been quite a year. I am in shock that you were called to sell your boat. I am also concerned about your heart. It's been a tough road getting creekside up and running, and I just want you to know your leadership and the compassion you have shown in the past year is noteworthy and something to look up to. Thank you for all of your hard work. I really am in shock over this boat, as I know how much peace and how many good times it has brought you over the years.

Thanks for leading the cause, and for all the trials that have come since the journey began, your persistence is commendable.

The past 12 or so months have been full of change for me and my family. Many changes that needed to be made and although we get hit with problems from time to time, I feel we are headed in the right direction.
Amazing that 30 months have passed since your heart operation (more now). I pray for your health and that you get past these infections.
Thanks for the encouragement to make changes that are needed.
